Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for paid services provided by Record Tunes. Because Record Tunes provides digital music publishing, release support and related services, refund eligibility can depend on whether a service has already been started, processed or delivered.

1. General Refund Principle

A refund is not automatically available simply because a user changes their mind after a service has been requested or processing has started. Each refund request is reviewed based on the service involved, its processing status and the reason for the request.

2. Services Already Started or Completed

Where Record Tunes has already started work on a requested service, completed processing, prepared a release, submitted material for processing, or otherwise provided the requested service, a refund may not be available for the portion of the service already performed.

3. Content, Rights and Illegal Uploads

Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and permissions for every song, recording, artwork, metadata item and other material they submit.

If content is submitted without the required rights or permissions and Record Tunes must reject, restrict or take down the content, this does not by itself create a right to a refund for work already performed.

4. Release Rejection

A release may be rejected or delayed because of rights issues, incorrect metadata, content requirements, quality requirements, third-party platform requirements, missing information or other applicable policy requirements.

Rejection or delay does not automatically mean that all amounts paid are refundable, particularly where Record Tunes has already performed processing or other services.

5. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same service, or that a payment was made incorrectly, contact Record Tunes with the relevant transaction details. We will review the matter and, where appropriate, correct a verified duplicate or erroneous charge.

6. Refund Requests

Refund requests should be submitted through the official Contact Us page or the support channel provided by Record Tunes. Please include your account information, payment details, the service involved and the reason for requesting a refund.

7. Review of Refund Requests

Record Tunes reviews refund requests individually. A request may be approved, partially approved or declined depending on the circumstances and the amount of service already performed.

8. Revenue and Payouts

Revenue generated from music releases is not a customer purchase refund. Revenue collection, accounting, revenue sharing and payouts are governed by the applicable Record Tunes agreements and policies.

9. Third-Party Platforms

Record Tunes may work with third-party digital platforms and service providers. Their review, processing, rejection, delay or removal of content does not automatically establish a refund entitlement from Record Tunes.

10. Policy Changes

Record Tunes may update this Refund Policy when necessary to reflect changes in services, procedures or applicable requirements. The version published on this website will be the current public version.

11. Contact

If you have a question about a refund or payment, please contact Record Tunes through the official support channels. We will review the request based on the applicable service and available transaction information.
